Material Ceramic

The universal symbol of peace is a dove with an olive branch in its mouth. After the flood in Noah's time, Noah sent out a dove to check if there was any sign of life on land again. Eventually, the dove came back with an olive branch in its mouth symbolizing peace and restoration to better days. The colorful olive branches and floral border, outlined in blue, are typical of Armenian decoration and add that extra splash of color to the wonderful clock. The word peace is painted in Hebrew and English in bold black, to highlight the importance of universal peace. The floral border is typical of an Armenian design. The Hebrew alphanumeric digits are that used for this clock, giving it a unique touch. This will look beautiful in the home, a business office as well as private and public buildings. Note: Armenian ceramics are delicate and should be treated with care. Each piece is individually hand made with the ancient skill of mixing and shaping clay and water and then placing the object in an oven or kiln at a temperature of 1000°C until it hardens. The piece is then beautifully hand painted with metallic and oxidized paint, maintaining a natural color and then placed again in the oven at the same temperature. The finishing touch is one of fine glazing.
